The self-appointed leader Jason Lozano has been repeatedly called by local Whittier Pastors to repent of his PROSPERITY FALSE TEACHINGS. Jason mishandles the Word of God and it has caused much damage and misdirection to Bibilically immature followers of Jesus. You can see more complaints below but this page will focus on the false and very dangerous Prosperity Gospel.
Poverty is NOT a curse.
Freedom Church, as well as many Prosperity Preachers and False Teachers, claim that to be poor or to experience a life of poverty is a curse. This is NOT True and it directly contradicts the teachings of Jesus. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus explicitly says:
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.”
Freedom attracts people who do not know basic Bible teachings, like the 10 commandments or Sound Doctrine, like the Doctrine of Salvation or the Doctrine of Repentance. There are multiple False Teachers who teach.
False Teachers and False Prophets are mentioned in nearly every book in the Bible and JESUS warned about how they would preach MONEY- prosperity not “sell all your possessions, give to the poor and follow after me… then you will be rich in heaven.” Certainly, there are believers who go to FREEDOM but if they listen to false prophecy then they are destined to experience destruction… for that is the Word of the Lord.
Jeremiah 14:14-16 And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, with none to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. For I will pour out their evil upon them.
FREEDOM CHURCH has Christians but many, MANY mishandle, adding PROSPERITY & FALSE TEACHINGS. The Freedom Church leadership discourages reading reviews on Yelp because of the negative and accurate descriptions.
