Freedom in a land of Lost Angels
I am from the City of Angels, a land polluted with sin, where the people are lovers of themselves and stubbornly reject the Law of God. As a Disciple of Christ Jesus, I testify against their sin, the evil of abortion, wickedness of prostitution, and the demonic pride of homosexuality. People assume that out of hatred and bigotry, I quote the Word of God; calling the lost to repentance. Like many Old Testament prophets, I am ignored, rejected, and attacked for calling out the sin of my own people. But I am not discouraged because the message I preach is beautiful, “be free of sin, produce fruit in accordance with following Christ, & trust in the Word of God.” Freedom is extremely important to me and because I know what it is to be a slave to sin. I tell everyone that true freedom, both physical and spiritual, is in Christ Jesus alone. Anyone not baptized with the Holy Spirit of God is a slave to sin and is not free.
California Election 2022
Less than 24 hours ago a law was passed expanding California law, protecting abortion; up to the day a child is born, and yes that means even when a baby is born, the parents, a physician, and virtually anyone can kill the newborn child and not be held liable for any criminal or civil charges. This is the California AB2223 Reproductive health bill, put on the November 8, 2022 ballot, supported by elected officials California Assemblyman Lisa Calderon & California Senator Bob Archuleta. Below is the text of the original bill, the only change I made was switching ‘fetus’ to ‘baby’.
If a physician was not in attendance at the delivery of the baby, existing law requires the baby's death to be handled as a death without medical attendance. Existing law requires the coroner to state on the certificate of baby's death the time of baby's death, the direct causes of the baby's death, and the conditions, if any, that gave rise to these causes. This bill would delete the requirement that a coroner hold inquests for deaths related to or following known or suspected self-induced or criminal abortion, and would delete the requirement that an unattended baby's death be handled as a death without medical attendance. The bill would prohibit using the coroner’s statements on the certificate of baby's death to establish, bring, or support a criminal prosecution or civil cause of damages against any person.
This is evil. Assemblyman Lisa Calderon & California Senator Bob Archuleta are promoting laws that are evil. These lawmakers are being led by higher ranked elected officials who hate the Law of God; I know because I have talked with them on many occasions about faith and the spiritual integrity of their platforms. As secular lawmakers they are be judged by God who judges and executes His Law. But those who engage in the sin these lawmakers are protecting, will experience pain and suffering; this is not a futuristic prophetic message, but a repeated story told throughout the Bible.
Hope for the Elect
To clearly communicate my position of hope, I share two Biblical repeated messages:
1. Some will only come to Christ Jesus at the cost of their first-born
2. God is executing judgment on the wicked by cutting off their bloodline.
Proverbs 2:21-22 states, For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.
This is happening through the wicked act of abortion. Some Christians are coming to faith after experiencing the terrible guilt and shame of murdering their own child; this is redemption for the Elect. There are others, who in their sin, are committing a spiritual and physical, self-inflicted genocide, which will ultimately result in less sinners in the world. This is a very Post-Millennial View.
Division Among God’s people
In 2013 same-sex marriage became legal in California and I recall being quite excited, because we would see division amongst the Churches that taught God’s Word and the church organizations that claimed to teach God’s Word. That is exactly what happened. It is easy to follow God when the secular laws enforce and protect what God says is true. But when the law of the land goes contrary to God’s Law, you see what Churches actually preach, teach, and live out the teachings of Jesus Christ- if you love me, you will obey my commands; John 14:15
To this day, we see Churches throughout Los Angeles failing because they are not faithfully preaching, teaching and living out the Word of God. There is a clear correlation to those who are faithful and those who are not. We saw what happened during the COVID shutdowns in 2020. Some Churches were faithful, and they preserved, and others were not and they closed their doors. Disclaimer, the life and sanctity of a Church body, the Bride of Christ, is not based on the faithfulness of man but on the faithfulness of God. God makes clear that His Sovereignty surpasses our human dumbness. Please do not receive my message as “we all need to try harder,” instead it is “we all need to pray harder.”
Final Questions
When we take our less breath and we stand before our Maker… what will it be like? Jesus told his Disciples that those who attacked and rejected Jesus will surely attack and reject the servants of Jesus. Will our Maker say well done, good and faithful servant? It really does not matter what we think because soon enough we will experience that judgment. Judgment of an award ceremony, rewards given to the servants who served well and for those who are not disciples of Christ Jesus, judgment of execution.
