Helping the City of Whittier in Love & Service

Deceit & Wickedness

LA County Agenda

October 17, 2023, the LA County Board of Supervisors showed contempt to a nation, dismissing the emotional cry and warning of taking sides in a war that has victimized all parties.

Over 100 people called and emailed their concerns against WAR CRIMES. On the record public count of 6 supporters and 90 opposed item #18 SUPPORT FOR THE STATE OF ISRAEL (click to read public comments of agenda). The Board took a political stance & ignored the voices of LA constituents.

Despite the polarizing, cultural, economic, political, religious & complicated subject, County Supervisors voted unanimously to take sides. With overarching opposition and a request to remove item #18 and remain neutral or condemn the violence committed by all parties, the people’s voices were ignored.

This was a foreshadowing of item #40 Promoting Health Care Engagement Among Vulnerable Target Populations at Risk for or Living with HIV and STDs Services Contract Amendment (click to read the agenda & scroll down to item #40). The description has NO reference to Whittier or an LGBTQ+ Service Center in Whittier.

Janice Hahn inserted 4 MORE PAGES of Supplemental Additions to item #40 for the Board meeting, more than tripling the size and complicating the nature of an item originally drafted. Original draft:

Promoting Health Care Engagement Among Vulnerable Target Populations at Risk for or Living with HIV and STDs Services Contract Amendment Recommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute an amendment with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, for promoting health care engagement among vulnerable target populations at risk for or living with HIV and STDs (Vulnerable Populations), to increase the annual funding by $300,000, from $500,000 to $800,000, 100% funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Integrated HIV Programs for Health Departments to Support Ending the HIV Epidemic in the United States (EHE) funds and existing Departmental resources, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024; and authorize the Director to take the following actions:

Amend eight Vulnerable Populations contracts with AltaMed Health Services, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Los Angeles LGBT Center (two contracts), Center for Health Justice, In the Meantime Men's Group, Inc, Men's Health Foundation, and Bienestar Human Services, Inc., to extend the contract terms for 12 months, at a combined annual maximum obligation of $5,332,063, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025;

If this looks complicated, then click here and scroll down to pages 6-9 to see how this item becomes more complicated. Janice Hahn led this item and the night before the Board of Supervisor meeting, the City of Whittier was notified that item #40 would now include the new LBGTQ+ Service Center in Whittier. Details below.

66-D. Whittier LGBTQ+ Community Resource Center to Serve the County of Los Angeles Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Adopt a resolution to formally accept $4,200,000 from the State of California Natural Resources Agency (State); authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute any agreement or report as required by the State, for the utilization of these funds for the creation of the Whittier LGBTQ+ Community Resource Center Project, Capital Project (CP) No. 8A025 (Project); pursuant to Government Code Section 26227, find that the property located at 7639 Painter Avenue in Whittier (Property) is not needed for County purposes during the term of the proposed gratis license (License), and that the Property will be used to provide teens and adults with workforce services, housing services, event planning, counseling, and referrals to health services; NOTE: LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn, who drafted this item had to excuse herself from the vote because she received funding for this project, making this a conflict of interest. The Supervisors voted in favor 4-0.

Both Janice Hahn and Assemblymember Lisa Calderon continue to ignore the people of Whittier and have decided that regardless of the people's feelings, they will use tax dollars to set up a center that will take in children for transgender operations (referrals to health services may include but not limited to gender reassignment surgery, hormonal therapy, & gender-affirming care).

A Letter you can send to Janice Hahn & Los Angeles County Supervisors

To Supervisor Janice Hahn,

I desire to express my opposition against my tax dollars going towards the Los Angeles County run LGBTQ+ Hub, being developed in Whittier California. I oppose for these reasons

CHILD TRANSGENDER SERVICES: targeting children and undermining the Parental Rights of the parents is an overstepping of power and personal boundaries. No government worker or anyone for that matter is allowed to take children in and disfigure their body parts. This LGBTQ+ hub will hurt children and families.

IGNORED CITY LEADERS: City Council voted 5-0 against a LGBTQ+ Hub. Local officials and residents’ voices are being ignored while Whittier Community LGBTQ+ centers and safe spaces remain open and well-funded; examples are the YMCA, Whittier College, Rio Hondo College & LGBTQ+ organizations at every Whittier High School.

UNCLEAR DIVISIVE LANGUAGE: the name LGBTQ+ is not inclusive to the “straight” heterosexual community. The language inherently segregates people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, & Queer from the rest of the population. This language creates more separation and opens the door for more discrimination.

Please respond to my letter, as it has been said that all opposition to this LGBTQ+ Hub has been ignored and rejected.

Thank you, Concerned Resident

Los Angeles Corruption

Short history of LA Times News Article

LA County reports current and former Councilmembers Joe Buscaino, Englander, Martinez, Huizar and Cedillo, as well as now-County Supervisor Janice Hahn, all received substantial donations linked to Leung, sometimes receiving the money as they were poised to make key decisions about the development. Donations tied to Leung also went to an independent campaign committee that supported Garcetti but was not controlled by him. Leung pleaded guilty in 2020. No elected officials were charged in the case.

  • Kevin Alexander Leon December 10, 1966, member of the Democratic Party.

  • Gilbert Anthony Cedillo born March 25, 1954, member of the Democratic Party.

  • Kevin Alexander Leon December 10, 1966, member of the Democratic Party.

  • Nury Martinez July 9, 1973, was a member of the Democratic Party but moved to Arizona with her husband and has changed her party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

  • Eric Garcetti February 4, 1971, member of the Democratic Party.

  • And Raymond Chan, a former deputy mayor to Garcetti also charged array of illegal activities, including arranging “indirect bribe payments” to key city officials by securing employment contracts for the officials’ relatives, prosecutors claim.

  • Mitchell Englander July 25, 1970, member of the Republican Party.

  • José Huizar September 10, 1968, member of the Democratic Party.

  • Mark Ridley-Thomas November 6, 1954, member of the Democratic Party.

Ridley-Thomas was convicted March 30, while he was a suspended member of the L.A. City Council, on single counts of conspiracy, bribery, honest services mail fraud and four counts of honest services wire fraud, stemming from his time serving on the county Board of Supervisors. News Article.

Ridley-Thomas served on the Los Angeles City Council from 1991-2002, then was a member of the Assembly and state Senate before being elected to the powerful county Board of Supervisors in 2008, serving until 2020, when he returned to the City Council.

This was connected to Marilyn Flynn, an 84-year-old former dean of the social work school at USC who pleaded guilty to bribing the Life Long Politician Ridley-Thomas, was sentenced last month to 18 months home confinement and ordered to pay a $150,000 fine.

As a Disciple of Christ Jesus, I testify against sin, the evil of abortion, the wickedness of prostitution, and the demonic pride of homosexuality.

The United States of America is under God’s judgment, and the citizens are suffering the consequences of the sins of past generations. Our leaders rejected God’s Word and compromised in acknowledgment and obedience to God’s Word.

We as a nation are headed to destruction and Los Angeles is leading the way in idolatry. Our youth is under attack, parents are systematically killing their children on the Planned Parenthood alter. Psychology and Mental Health services leave no room for God and reject Jesus Christ as King and healer.

The promotion and advocation of an LGBTQ+ hub in Whittier will only bring more adultery, more abortions, more PRIDE, and more guilt to the people. This is according to the Word of the Lord.
